ABOUT ME
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and a double Master's degree in Computer Science between Aalto University (Finland) and DTU (Denmark), where I focused on Information Security and Data Science.

I am currently working as a Data Engineer.
During my Master's and shortly after, I have worked in 3 research groups at Aalto Univerisity and DTU on topics related to Machine Learning, Network Science (e.g. graphs), and Privacy.

Cycling
I have recently started commuting by bike and have done some longer one day-trips as well.
The world of cycling is captivating me every day more and I have a few cycling challenges planned for the winter.
Travelling
I love travelling and exploring new cultures and places. Both for extended periods or for weekends get-away.
Writing
I have always had the passion and instinct of writing.
During high school, I have written articles for my high-school's magazine "Carpe Diem".
I won a journalistic competition called "Between dream and reality" (in Italian: "Tra Sogni e Realtà") in 2010 (1st place), and in 2011 (3rd place).
I won the competition "VIVA V.E.R.D.I." for the composition of the lyrics of an italian anthem.
Nowadays, I mostly write to organize my thoughts, but I plan to open a personal blog soon (a first attempt dates back to of a few years ago here, in italian).
Rap music
Until a few years ago, I was writing lyrics for rap songs, recording and mixing them (an example here, in italian).
I sometimes still write in rhyme or improvize a few lyrics (and send my friends as birthday songs).
